Also if you want to taste and buy Japanese beer in Perth, i.e. authentic hand made craft beer from Japan, not imported from China/Thailand etc, then this is a great time to sample and buy "Yamaguchi Kogan" the Japanese craft beer from Yamaguchi prefecture in southern Japan.

You don't have to buy a ticket but if you do you are guaranteed entry if we are full). Entry is free but if you want to taste you need to buy a 'wristband' for $15-20 which gives you 10 tastes. (Some super premium sake require 2 tokens). So don't worry - if you are bringing a 'driver' then they don't have to pay to get in. And there is food and soft drink for them to enjoy there.
