Taiheizan Shingetsu 40 1800ml
Essense of “Shingetsu 神月” is in water which is from a natural spring in the UNESCO World Heritage Shirakami mountain range, the largest virgin beech forest remaining in East Asia. The mountains stretch from northwest of Akita to further north in Aomori. Using Yamada-nishiki rice polished down to 40% and AK-1 yeast originated in Akita, this fruity full-bodied sake has layered complexity and well textured richness with hints of apple, citrus and fresh tropical fruits.
This special limited brew comes in bottles wrapped in Japanese newspapers.
