Plum wines from all over Japan. From the icy snow fields of Akita where they age them for years to the sunny clime of Ehime where the abundant sunshine produces a full ripe flavour. We have plum wines from Aichi, Okayama, Ehime, Akita and Chiba. The high end 'Shizuku' from Ehime uses aged sake from around 20 years old sake. The Ehime (Eikoo) plum wine is the only one that uses Shochu in its blend. The rest are sake based which give them a more gentle flavour. Especially unusual is the Kounotsukasa which is organic and hand made and has an almost almond aftertaste.
