Gozenshu Junmai Bodaimoto nigori namagenshu 1800ml - Perth Store Pickup Only (We can not post this)
As this product is 'nama' (unpasteurised) it is only available for pickup at SuperSake's store in Perth (18 Glyde street Mosman Park).
We can not post this. As of November 2023 Australia Post does not allow express shipping on sake. Therefore all ’nama’ (unpasteurized) sakes are ‘pickup at our Perth store’ (Glyde St Mosman Park) only. We regret this but it is out of our control. The decision was Australia Post, not ours.
A very unique sake. It is made using the bodaimoto method, arguably the oldest method of producing sake in Japan currently. It has been run through a more course than normal filter and yet it is finer than a normal nigori. We think it's akin to a Coopers with a small amount of sediment. Like most nigoris it is not dry. It makes a good aperitif. Some people have called it a 'Japanese cider'. Whilst we don't agree we can understand their point. Recommended. Very special.
