What is world sake day ?


Every year on October 1st, World Sake Day is observed to honour sake and its contributions to Japanese culture, ranging from ceremonies to celebrations.


The purpose of the day is also to deepen people's love and understanding of sake. It makes no difference whether you live in or outside of Japan; the day is for all sake enthusiasts worldwide. World Sake Day commemorates the start of the annual rice harvest, which is when sake production in Japan begins. So gather your friends and family and enjoy this Japanese beverage. Kampai!
