Great Sake video
Sake bar in Kyoto
This is a great youtube video from NHK about an Israeli guy 'Ofer' san who has a sake bar in Kyoto with 70 different sakes to try.
One thing that struck us as unique is that he doesn't have a price list but rather asks the customers what style they like. He doles up 3 small glasses and when they taste he notes the reaction of their faces and then suggests even more accurate recommendations according to what he thinks they would like.
It reminded us a bit of the great sake bar 'The Meishu Centre Yokohama' (unofficially called 'Brian's sake bar') where they also don't have a menu but recommend from their 100 odd sake list which changes regularly.
