Sekaiitto

The majority of the citrous and stone fruit grown in this area is produced in the lovely Wakayama, which is known as the fruit basket of Japan. Peaches from Wakayama are well-known throughout all of Japan.

A Tale of Three Breweries is an interesting article

Taiheizan

Northwest of Japan, in the charming city of Katagami, in the Akita Prefecture, the Kodama brewery was established in 1879. The generations have fostered and established recognised competence in brewing sake. They have been blessed with an abundance of high-quality rice and pure, clean mountain water.

Akita is the northernmost of peach production in Japan.
Their Momoshu is made with 100% fresh local farm Akita white peaches.

Taiheizan Momoshu 500ml

Our favourite Momoshu is back!

Japanese liqueur made with peach. Gentle flavour, reminiscent in many ways of nashi or pear. Okayama white peach has the reputation of being the best peach in Japan. We enjoy this best with half momoshu and half sparkling mineral water topped with ice cubes.
