Hot Sake

Some types of sake are best drunk hot.

If you are wondering which types we recommend the ‘Junmai’ sakes in our range (not the Junmai Ginjo or Daiginjo).

There are many degrees of 'kan' sake. Atsukan is the most famous but there is also Tobikirikan (very hot, 55°C+), Jokan (slightly hot, 45°C), Nurukan (warm, 40°C), Hitohadakan (body temperature) and so on.

Check out our recommendations below

Winter is around the corner which is the perfect time to buy sake that can be warmed up and enjoyed on a cold winter's night.

The Tokkuri pot is used to warm up sake.
It's narrow neck prevents the heat from escaping too quickly after
it's been warmed.
